Walk'sches Haus in Weingarten

Very sophisticated protection program for guests. It was a very nice stay in Walk's house. Nice staff and especially good food. Thank you for everything!

We were unlucky, a wedding blocked the restaurant we had actually reserved, the other guest rooms were also occupied, so we had to eat out and have our "nightcap" in a tiny, cold oriel room. We could have been informed beforehand. Why 5 stars anyway? The old half-timbered house offers a wonderful ambience, our room was excellent, and the next morning we had breakfast all to ourselves in a cozy and romantic alcove. And the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. In addition, there is the pretty surroundings of the hotel on Weingarten's market square. What more do you want?

8 course menu at an absolutely fair price. Price performance 5 out of 5. Every course was delicious beyond measure. The waitress was at least as excellent. We felt very comfortable from the beginning to the end. Thank you for the great evening.

Wasn't in the hotel, but in the associated gourmet restaurant. Just want to say one thing, I booked the next, bigger menu there right after the fantastic menu and I'm really looking forward to it. That says it all, doesn't it? Great value for money, great service, great atmosphere, great kitchen. I have seldom so happy to give 5 stars. Thank you.

We celebrated friends wedding here. The hotel has an excellent service, the staff was open, helpful and even handed out something to eat shortly after the kitchen closed. The food both in the gourmet restaurant and in the style break is excellent and highly recommended. The rooms are maybe a bit old but still very nice. The area is fantastic. We had a very nice time here and would like to thank the Walk'schen Haus team very much!

We only ate here and it was delicious! Original dishes, affordable and super tasty! The lady serving us, the manager, was very friendly and enthusiastic. Just bring your own candle, because it's quite dark on the terrace;)

We were there for the surprise menu on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. Service was very friendly! Food was very good! The only thing that wasn't good is the awning over the courtyard under which the heat accumulated extremely ... the feel-good factor wasn't that high!

We went to Stilbruch for lunch. Outstanding service, excellent food, top quality and great sitting outside on the Bachterasse am Walzbach. Great ambience in historic walls. Everything was very relaxed and relaxing. We'll be back soon. Highly recommended!

Traditional house with a heart for a summer menu

The hotel and the kitchen are excellent. All of the staff, no matter what position, in my opinion can not be surpassed. A rich breakfast is included in the room price. Simply TOP! I can only recommend it.

I have always felt very well here mainly because of excellent service om Zeitgeist. I would be recognized as a returning regular guest and recognized. Later had always size room with bathtub. But unfortunately very old and in need of renovation rooms. At breakfast you are left to yourself. The temporary workers at check out have no idea of ​​anything.

It was amazing to stay here. Small & cute old historical looking hotel at a wonderful location. Rooms are neat with fantastic attached bathroom. Sufficient car parking. Location is so amazing for those who love peace and serenity. Beautiful experience there in Germany.

Very pleasant was the welcome, were 1 night hotel, had a coupon for the 6 course menu would be super delicious. Waiters very friendly and very motivated was a room nice evening i can. Best recommend

We went with the menu. 4 courses incl the desert are really plenty and enough. Couldn't enjoy more than 1 glass of wine because I was driving, but the white wine the super sweet host recommended was delicious, too. My favorite was the deer meat. It's a "fine-schmecker" and a Michellin 1-star restaurant.

Not so romantic as announced. The reality is very different from the nice pictures and description in the announcement as Romantic hotel. Guests in half board have to go for dinner in the bistro (not in the restarant) and have to stay in a basic room next to a noisy road (not in the old building). Very dissapointing when booking a romantic stay. Never ever again !

Very good food and decent housing. However, the nearby churches wake you rather early in the morning with their bells.

I spent a month in this hotel (2012) and it was great. Lots of character and perfectly located (city center) for Weingarten. I chose a very small room, top floor, with view out of the left two of the four front windows. Wonderful view, cozy, slightly feminine in decor (naturally as a romantik hotel), but one of my favorites. Good breakfast. Limited parking but I always had a spot. Great little beer garden / tavern (hard to notice) across from parking entrance behind hotel. Great hotel in Great town.
